SARVAMum Sariyillai!
*Very very funny that "Sarvam" is called a thriller. It has more "Yawn" moments than any recent Tamil movie.
*Very very funny that Yuvan's BGM score is exalted by people when the first half entirely depends on Ilayaraja's "Pallavi Anu Pallavi" violin bit.The BGM in second half is noisy, jarring and unimpressive.
*Very very funny that Vishnuvardhan is considered one of the best directors in TC when "Arindhum Ariyamalum" is his only good movie."Billa" was one rampwalk of a bore."Kurumbu" was lewd.
*Very Very funny that a movie with a charismatic hero,a cute heroine, innovative cinematography(Neerav Shah is the hero of the film),hummable tunes and mindblowing picturisation is dismissed by people as "Should have gone to Mariyadhai machi!".
*Very very funny that directors don't realise that Script matters more than Style or Sleekness."Sarvam" is a lesson.
After great expectations, what we got was a damp squib. CRAP is the word that I would associate with Sarvam. Vishnu is a good director da, Pattiyal and Arindhum were quite good. Billa was one of the most stylish films made in South India. Even though Pattiyal is inspired by City of Gods, it was one of its kind in Tamil Cinema. With Sarvam, Vishnu joins the league of DUMB people who call themselves directors which is currently headed by Kalaprabhu :D
ReplyDeletePattiyal Is Not Inspired From D City Of Gods.....Its Pudhupettai....Pattiyal Rocked.....Dude One Bad Movie Doesnt Make Him An Ordinary Director.....Hmmmm Mani Ratnams Thiruda Thiruda Was Crap.....Jus Coz Of Rahman It Was A Success.....Give Vishnu Some Time.....
