Singh is King and We are his Kings!

Deja vu.Last time,NDA was supposedly destined to shine through. This time a hung parliament was predicted by psephologists.Neither time was Congress expected to get a decisive mandate. No one is as unpredictable as the common man.
Even TN was expected to go "Jaya Ho"(Outlook's cover proclaimed so 2 weeks back). But the old fox Karunanidhi has turned it around one more time in his long(how long?!) career.PMK,that funny party which boards any bus available, has lost all 7 seats it contested in.Vaiko's loss shows that people had immediate concerns other than Eelam and Tigers.
Azhagiri has won and how!(a whooping margin of almost 1.5 lakhs). It's quite funny to imagine J.K.Ritheesh in the parliament.P.Chidambaram almost lost(A victory margin of 3000-odd votes sounds pathetic for a former Union finance minister and current Union home minister).Vijayakanth is not MGR-2 and Chiranjeevi is not NTR-2.
Advani can retire.Rajnath Singh is lamenting Vajpayee's absence.Funny.Third Front did not spring surprises and we are assured of a stable government till 2014.Singh is King alright but Sonia will remain the Queen.Rahul Gandhi getting a portfolio speaks volumes of what is store in Elections 2014.
It is reassuring to see no emotional issue sweeping the entire nation and deciding the verdict. This was not a Vote for change or a Vote out of an impulse or a Vote of communalism.Rather, this was a Vote for non-communal stability.A vote for governance.
After all those big hoardings carrying Mayavati's face come down and those websites carrying Advani's smile are not visited and those manifestos carrying Mulayam Singh Yadav's countenance get dusted, the real hero of the elections emerges.Right from 1947,he is being cheated and he still stands in the hot sun to vote. The common man may be deceived of his hopes but he is yet to be defeated in any elections!Hail his spirit!Jai Ho!

  3. Precisely.. BJP and its communal ways are not good for our country. A look at history would expose what BJP can do to our country. A victory to the third front would have resulted in another election within 3 months. Fourth front comedy piece :D and for DMK's victory in TN, I think its because they aligned with the right party, lets see what happens in Assembly elections. As expected, CPM's Mr.Natarajan won in Coimbatore, personally I wanted someone else here. It only means another 5 years of inaction as far as CBE is concerned. Great post da macha.
