Yes Sir!

It was serendipity that made Kandha Manokar my batchmate for the "Technical Seminar aka Mini project".Implementing a vending machine using FPGA was our project and at the end of the semester,I am still struggling to say the exact expansion of FPGA.
I still remember the early days when my eyes expanded in utter fear and amazement at the word "Project".Now in hindsight,I am reconciled to the reality:A project is further proof that even if you do not learn things,Engineering gives you credit. The questions which our Staff-in-charge asked during evaluation baffled me:"Which FPGA board did you people use?" etc.Kandha Manokar answered sincerely and I backed him with a sincere "yes sir!" everytime."Yes sir!" are the default words of anyone who has joined PSG tech without interest.
Sampath sir(He has an amazing sense of humour.Even if he says "Good morning",we will laugh!) advised us to develop a mechanical model using monetary help from either STEP or the state government.I giggled.Kandha gave back a cold stare at me.
As we came out,I realised that Kandha was going to pursue this vending machine till the end.I don't mind as long as my name is in the final report. But I will object to the machine if it vends candies(That is Kandha's aim).An engineer must shoulder the duties of the society. So I won't mind as long as the machine vends condoms.
