What to read for GS Mains - Paper 4?

I did not prepare for this paper at all except for two hours in the afternoon break before the exam. This is because I felt a lucid expression of my ethical self (!) would suffice along with references to thinkers ( These thinkers were covered in my optional already).

Nonetheless, here is a list of what I feel are introductory texts/materials to the most beautiful paper in the current scheme of civil service exams.

1.Analysis of  question papers at Mrunal's website

3.ARC report : Ethics in governance http://arc.gov.in/
4.Case studies from Insightsonindia website. There are many examples available here,

5. This book can be used as general reference for all the topics in the syllabus.

6. Thinkers like Aristotle, Plato and Gandhi can be read in IGNOU PDFs. English translation of Thirukkural can also come handy in many answers.

Thus,a basic overview of the four General studies papers has been provided in this blogspace. I wish it is useful for all those who are beginning to prepare for the most interesting exam happening in India today.

  4. play bazaar Before stepping in to face a new pitcher, take a couple of practice swings while he's facing another batter. Use the time to measure the pitcher's timing. This will give you a better opportunity to have a quality at bat against the pitcher. Otherwise, you may be outclassed pretty quickly.. satta king
